Privacy Policy
Ritual Buff is built to work entirely on your device. This page describes, in plain terms, what that means for your data.
What we collect
Nothing. Ritual Buff does not collect personal information, usage analytics, crash reports, advertising identifiers, device identifiers, location data, or any other data from you or your device. We do not operate any servers. The app does not have a user account, login, or registration.
What stays on your device
The app stores the following on your device only, using iOS and Android local preferences and file storage:
- Onboarding completion flag
- Settings (haptics on/off, motion on/off)
- Sessions you have started or completed (the chosen ritual, your optional input text, the time, your feedback if any)
- Rituals you have saved to your Atlas
- The currently active ritual session, so the app can resume it if you close and reopen
This data never leaves your device. We have no way to access it.
Sharing
The "Share Card" feature uses your operating system's built-in share sheet. When you tap it, your device gives you control over what is shared, where, and with whom. We do not see, log, or transmit anything you share.
If you tap "Send Feedback" in Settings, the app opens your mail app with a prefilled message containing the app version and platform name. Sending the email is your choice. The address it is sent to is the developer's personal mailbox; it is used only to read your feedback.
Third parties
Ritual Buff includes no third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, or tracking. The app's only third-party code dependencies are Flutter framework libraries used for storage, file paths, sharing, and version display — none of which transmit user data.
Children
Ritual Buff is intended for general audiences and rated 4+. It contains no advertisements, in-app purchases, or social features. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, because it does not collect data at all.
Removal
You can clear all locally stored data at any time from Settings → "Clear Local History". Uninstalling Ritual Buff from your device removes all locally stored data. There is nothing left behind on any server because no data was ever sent anywhere.
Changes
If we change this policy, the "Effective" date above will change. If a future version of Ritual Buff ever adds any form of data collection, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the App Store / Play Store privacy disclosures will be updated to match.
